Meredith Mickel (Mrs. Mike), a staff member in the department since September 1969, celebrated her thirty-fifth anniversary with the Mathematics Department in 2004!

Judith Najolia, who has been the department Librarian since 2001 retired
in August 2004.  She and her husband, a retired local attorney, have both
been very active LSU alumni since completing their degrees and have now
returned to Baton Rouge to live and continue to enjoy their long standing
ties to Baton Rouge and LSU.

Julia Sathler joined the department staff in September of 2004 as Librarian for the A.H. Clifford Mathematics Research Library.  Having completed her Master of Library and Information Science degree at LSU, Julia has extensive experience in managing small, dedicated collection libraries, web development and editing, as well as information management for establishments such as the New Orleans Association of Law Libraries, the lawn firm Locke Liddell & Sapp, and The McFarland Institute.
