Course description: This is a continuation of Math 121, covering topics in integration; techniques in integration; exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; mean value theorem; Taylor's theorem and Taylor series; and infinite series.
Prerequisites: grade at least C- in Math 116 or Math 121.
Text: James Stewart. Calculus, early transcendentals, 6th Edition.
Topics covered: most of chapters 6-11.

Expected performance criteria: students should know the meaning of and how to compute basic integrations, be able to apply the mean value and Taylor's theorems, and understand the concept of infinite sequences and series.
Class/Lab schedule: Class meets MWF, 10:00-10:50AM. Lab meets on Tuesday or Thursday (check your session numbers!)

Relationship of course to ABET Program Outcomes: students will have the ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.

Grading: your grade will be based on the total sum of your scores on 3 mid-term tests, weekly quizzes, and the final.

Mid-terms: will be given during class time.

Homework: will be given during class time, and are NOT to be handed in. You are strongly encouraged to do homework on a regular basis and to discuss the homework with your lab instructors.

Final exam: 8:00AM - 12:00AM, Friday, May 2, 2008, in Gibson 126.
