The Department of Mathematics has openings for two tenure-track faculty members, one with  a specialty in algebra or a related field and one with a specialty in topology.  The positions are at the Assistant Professor level.  Each successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program, to teach and advise students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to participate in departmental service. These positions are subject to final university determination on funding.

Applications should include an AMS Application Cover Sheet, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation, one of which should address the candidate's teaching. Statements about research and about teaching interests also should be included.  Applications will be guaranteed full consideration if they are complete by January 1, 2008.   Applications should be sent to:
