All documents containing departmental information, graduate program descriptions and application forms are available on line. Here is a summary of sites you will find helpful:

  • On-line graduate school application forms. This site contains all forms needed to apply to our graduate programs. Everything can be filled out on line and submitted electronically. You can also print the completed forms and send them by regular mail. The Institution Code for both GRE and TOEFL is 6173. The deadline is February 1st of each year for those requesting financial aid.  Applications for admission without financial aid are due by July 1st for the fall semester and December 1st for the spring semester.

  • General information about the Mathematics Department, including a brief history, annual events, facilities and location.

  • Specific information about the Mathematics graduate programs. This site contains detailed descriptions of the Masters and Ph.D. programs in mathematics, degree requirements, sample qualifying exams, information about our graduate students and more.

  • Graduate courses. Read descriptions of the graduate courses offered by the mathematics department.

  • Going to Graduate School in the Mathematical Sciences. This is a brochure written for undergraduate students thinking about the possibility of going to gradaute school. It contains information on how to decide where to apply, how to choose the right program for you, career opportunities, and more.
