We know this sounds very complicated, so we put together a couple of scenarios to help you figure out what can happen if you take Math 131 (Consolidated Calculus):

Scenario

Grade on the Calculus I review test
Class grade
Credit
1
D
B-
8 credits—4 credits for Math 121 (Calculus I) & 4 credits for Math 122 (Calculus II)
2

D
4 credits
3
B-
B-
8 credits—4 credits for Math 121 (Calculus I) & 4 credits for Math 122 (Calculus II)

Summary of the scenarios:

If you do badly on the Calculus I review test (less than a B-), you can still receive 8 credits, as long as you do well in the rest of the class (course grade of B- or better).

If you do well on the Calculus I review test (B- or better), you will only receive 8 credits if you do well in the class (C- or better).
