The development of new analytical strategies combined with novel computational techniques have become one of the fundamental tools of investigation of nonlinear Partial Differential Equations. Numerical methods have not only complemented the theory, but they expanded its scope by altering the kind of questions being asked.
These lectures will provide few examples for the interplay between analytical and computational strategies in nonlinear convection-dominated problems and how to realize the underlying nonlinear phenomena through 'faithful' numerical simulations.
The conference will consist of 11 one-hour talks given by the invited speakers:
